Default IS200 Front Crank Seal Replacement

Do you perhaps have a procedure with tool requirement to replace the front crank seal on a lexus IS200 1999 model

Nothing expensive. I just did mine. I drilled a small hole in the old seal, screwed in a drywall screw in and pulled it out with pliers. To install it, I used a short piece of pvc pipe and the crank bolt and washer. Just turn in the bolt and it presses in squarely. Dont forget to lube the seal lip with MP grease. Same for the camshafts. I put a cut down the side of the pipe so it could open a bit over the cam and crank snout. The zip tie keeps it tight on the shaft.

A +5 for ingenuity! I've used pvc for seal driving on motorcycle stanchion tubes but the bolt to push it squarely is FTW!
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind!

I usually just grab an appropriate sized socket that matches the seal size, lube up the outer part of the seal, and slowly tap it into place.

But yeah, kudos the DIY ingenuity!
