Heard about all the stories of the IS having really soft paint, and wondered about getting a nose mask. Anyone know how much is the nose mask that u can get from the dealer, or anywhere u can get one aftermarket?

If you want the clear bra, try XPEL.

For a vinil, I recommend Colgan Custom.
I got a full front end mask, even mirror covers.
It looks real tight.

I think the salesman at the dealership said it was about $168, I'm not sure since I got him to throw it in for free after catching him in a flat out lie to me about the car I got (It was supposed to be an direct order from the factory, he ended up doing a dealer trade, grrrrr) There was a lexus auto accessory website that had it for cheaper but I can't remember the address, sorry.

 

Damn Man !!! That mask looks so TIGHT on your car....I didn't know Lexus make front mask for IS (to be honest, it looks much better than Xpel or other clear bra availale out there now!!!)
If I knew about this before (when I bought my car), I could of ask the Saleman to put it on for me as a part of the deal just like the spoiler and armrest !!!!!. Anyway I'll call the service Dept. tomorrow and have them install on my car, since it in service now. Again, it look really tight, I want one NOW !!!!

 

The Lexus mask does look pretty good. I expect it to look great on black. About the Xpel clear mask, isn't it supposed to not be visible?

 

You right, Xpel is a clear mask and not suppose to be visible. BUT from what I heard, it only look good (in term of clear and invisible) on silver ....other than that, it is very noticeable and even worst for White (mine is DWP), so I have to go with OEM Bra.

 

I've just order the front mask for $149 this morning from the local Lexus dealer and they said it will arrive to dealer no later than tomorrow.
They gonna install it on for me ,since my car still there waiting for the new rear strut to be replace!!!!!!! (long story why me car still at the dealer since last Saturday, as long as I still have the loaner that fine with me)

Whoowoo new front mask for me !!!!! Here we go my extra 10HP gain !!!!! j/k
