RX500h MPG
Up to 3700 miles and still at 27.2-27.5 no matter the mix of city and hwy.
I have noticed a few transmission quirks. It gets much better mpg doing 50 vs 45. Odd….but the transmission will shift down to 6 and go from 25mpg to 40+. There are a few spots along the speed curve that are similar.
at the end of the day we just drive it. Hard/ conservative - seems like 27 is our number. I’m happy with that.

Experimented with driving modes traveling to a wedding the past couple days. On the 70-mile trip there, faster but farther (more highway), 32 MPG. 35% EV
On the way back, more direct surface streets (Toyota hybrids get better city MPG, right?), reduced miles traveled by 15% but only achieved 28 MPG. Took 20 minutes longer. 53% EV.
I'm at 27 - 28 overall, still. No matter HOW or WHERE I drive.

23 MPG on a recent 400 mile road trip. 15 degree weather with some decent head winds one direction. The cold weather has dropped our MPG down to 24 average, but that is with several remote starts on a tank of gas. I can't complain with a roughly 10% reduction; fairly normal.
My mileage increased to an overall 26 MPG over the first 25k miles. It then started dropping. I’m averaging 24.5 roughly now. Not sure if it’s the winter fuel blend or what but it’s gone down over the last 3 months.
I get about 25 MPG or 9.4l/100km. I anticipate a slight improvement when the temps get warmer and the fuel changes. Since the cold weather takes longer for the battery to warm up and the engine.

I have my 500H exactly one year but only 3000 miles and love the vehicle. History starts with drive home 20 miles from dealer showed 13mpg. It got progressively better but the best I've averaged was 21-22. Now its gong down again only getting a little over 19. I have it in ECO and still no better. Only time I got over 25 was a resetting and never went over 40mph but that's a ridiculous speed to drive especially this vehicle.
Complained to the dealer at the 6 month checkup and they said everything looked fine. Not much mileage so I figured a break in period. Well as stated it got worse and noted it to the dealer today for the one year service. Told them this was my third RX but first hybrid and got better mileage with my old ones.
Well they spent two hours checking gas modules etc. and finally after sitting at the dealer of over three hours they offered me a loaner and were going to check with Toyota so I believe they know there are issues with my hybrid. If not fixed I will start really making a stink and start yelling lemon laws at the dealer. I purchased it. Its not a lease. Its not the money which based on my annual mileage doesn't amount to a lot but I paid for a hybrid that got good mileage not a gas clunker.
Keep you posted.

I bought a used 2023 500h with around 12,000 miles on it in CT last February. Six month later with about 5,000 miles up the accumulatively average is 27.6 mpg. Highway/local is about 20/80 with most time in the ECO mode and light loads. Based on my number, I guess that most drivers would not have the chances to hit the 27/28 mpg listed numbers.
With my RX500h, F-Sport, I get about 23 MPG. And that's driving like grandpa with a bowl of gold fish sitting on the seat. I am seeing the average MPG creeping up a little as I drive more, but I must admit, I expected better gas mileage...
You may set up the ECO mode selection at the four unlabeled buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to easily access the Economic drive mode and use more of the ECO mode if you want to find out if that would change anything. Under most driving situations especially on the highway, I don't need that much power of the engine at all. With the drive mode selection feature on the steering wheel I can switch between the ECO and Sport or Customer modes easily according to the road conditions. It could be one of the original purposes of Lexus. And it's fun for me.
Progress update:
Our '23 500h has achieved 29MPG + over the past 3 tanks. Suburban driving, no stop 'n' go.
Engine seems to have 'broken in'.
Granted, the weather hasn't been too hot or too cold (A/C use was minimal).
