Hi! Just got code reader. My friend has a laptop with Windows 7 and he installed Techstream program. Unfortunately we didnt got connection to the car. There was text: "unable to connect to vim". My friend also tried other way to "get in" the program, but it asked key-code. Please help me!

 

I believe there is also a driver for the cable that must be installed as well. Techstream can't communicate with the cable without the driver. The driver may require a 32bit version of Windows 7 (older versions did anyway) and you might be using a 64bit version of Windows 7 (most are unless they are older systems with low memory that didn't need 64bit addressing).

Hi.
A few weeks ago i was driving my car and suddenly i noticed that "check brake system" text had disappeard. Also orange warning light went off. I tested cruise control and adaptive cruise and both worked fine about ten minutes, until "check cruise control" and "check brake system" + orange warning light came on! It seems that there is some kind of an connection problem somewhere. Before this all happened, i was driving very bumpy road.
