Hi, Just came over this yesterday...How has I never been told by any Lexus dealers of it before..but are good for us with older Hybrids...
Lexus workshops will as part of the service , check the hybrid systems ...and if it's OK they will extend the guaranty to the hybrid system and hybrid battery for one more year (or 10k miles), with no limits to the total mileage on the car's system for a small sum.... waiting for a reply from my workshop in Germany if I can get it for my car... hope it's available world wide :-)

The Lexus Hybrid Health Check is designed to keep your hybrid in top working condition and is available for only £59 or free with a service at your local Inchcape Lexus. Our authorised Lexus technicians are graduates of the Lexus Certified Training programme and are respected experts in their field. By entrusting your hybrid with our team, you can be confident that your hybrid will get the attention it deserves.


We recommend you book your hybrid in for a health check on an annual basis to ensure your optimising its efficiency. The Hybrid Health Check consist of:

1. Battery Check to analyse the condition of the battery

2. Drive system check to analyse the fuel consumption of the drive system

3. Cooling system check to analyse the operation of the cooling system

You will benefit from an extra 1 year or 10,000 mile (whichever comes sooner) hybrid battery warranty extension with each Hybrid Health check. This is available up to the 10th anniversary of the vehicle’s registration with no limit on total mileage.

Well..they certainly didn't tell me about this about mine. They told me they had no way to check battery health which I know was BS. So glad I dumped my hybrid after the battery failed..very happy with my 2012 460L

...... for FREE when I take my service at my Lexus workshop and if all is OK with the hybrid battery pack...will extend the warranty for one year/16000 km..untill my next service...up to/including the 10. year since the car was first registred..... Been also informed by my workshop in Flensburg, Germany to get this done at their main Lexus workshop in Kiel, Germany since they did not have the program for doing the test needed.....not far away anyways ;-)

Spent last 2 weeks cruising Europe...Norway, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Spain ..now spending the last 2 days of 7 here in Punta Prima, south of Spain by the Mediteranian Ocean, before setting course north again..using the 3.week beeing tourists...Lovely driving the 600, averaging good mileage and superior weather every day so far :-)

Dont assume that US dealers will do this because UK/European dealers will...

 

Correct. I do have every intention of asking and am quite curious as to the response, as I suspect US dealers may not have even heard of this.

Just driven out from Lexus Forum in Kiel, Germany, after having a small service ...and a Hybrid Check on my 2008 LS 600hL ....... the FREE Hybrid Check test came out flawless...and one more year guaranteed on the system..feels GOOD ;-) .... and..just before setting course for Germany I spoke with the sales manager at my local Lexus dealer in Norway, and he informed me that the Hybrid Check guarantee is NOT available in here.... When I asked the service manager in Kiel if I had to come to them if things goes bad .. He said that the test they did was recognized all over Europe...and thought that if my battery goes, this could be fixed at my local dealer ,who would be reimbursed for the cost by Lexus Europe...

... and certified for the next year..They also told me if I came with the car before Feb.14. 2018. (It's the date the car was tirst sold and registred for road use in 2008)..and no faults was still not found in the hybrid battery pack...they would issue a 11th year full warranty...

Due to anti-corrosion plating remnants, fuel may leak from where the fuel pressure sensor is attached to the fuel delivery pipe.

Consequence
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

What Owners Should Do
Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will clean and reseal the fuel pressure sensor mounting area, free of charge. The recall began March 3, 2015. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331.

Got the 11. year hybrid battery check done one day before my car had been on the road for 10 Year....and the Hybrid Check guaranty expires..Last time I got the check done, the service manager told me to come back just before it was 10 years old for last and final free Hybrid Check when You have it serviced..
I told him I did not need the service just now..he said no problem..if You don't need the car serviced..we will only charge You 30 Euro (roughly the same amount in US $'s)...came out good and have now guaranty for the Hybrid battery untill 13.02.2019.
In Norway Lexus now only does this check if You have a service done ��
