Default 2011 450h hid -- auto high beams?

I have a 2011 rx450h with adaptive/auto leveling hid's. just picked it up, don't think i have the auto high beam feature. is there anyone with a 2011 rx450h with the adaptive/auto leveling hid's? if so, did your car come with the auto high beam feature? thanks.

If you have auto high beams, there will be an indicator in the IP when you turn on the high beams. The indicator will be between the light and fog light indicators with the word auto

Pictures of the dash indicator and rear view mirror with auto high beam camera to the left. Push the stalk forward. If the below light comes (headlights have to be on) you have it.

In addition to what mkml63 said, the control on your turn signal will have 'Auto' midway in the middle of the light controls. Also you'll have to push to the forward position.

ive always thought the camera for the autohighbeams is overly large and unsightly for a feature that is so seldom used. It looks like it should be a pre collision camera or lane keep assist camera or something.

Or a camera to film while driving. It is pretty big. I have a hanging parking tag for work. Just a week or two ago, one of the guards asked to see it because it wasn't obvious when I drove in. I pulled it down, showed him, and then spent the next minute or two getting it to stay in place. Oh well.

BTW I have the auto high beams off.

Thanks all -- I definitely don't have it. Out of curiosity, if any owner of a 2011 450h with the hid's does have it, I'd appreciate knowing that. My guess is that it only exists on the 2011 with the LED's (though who knows why...).

I have them. Mine is an early build (May 2009) 2010 450h model. I have the HID's too and love it all. From time to time they over react to something like a stop sign but not that often. I leave them on and wouldn't want another model without the same setup.

my 2010 RX350 had it and I loved it for the back roads. My 2011 450h doesn't and I miss it. I have the HIDs not the LEDs.

I never get a chance to use the auto high beams on my RX 450h because there is always too much ambient light living in a city. I'll have to do an out of town road trip at night to test it out.
