I do not give a rip about my local dealer that is were the problem was. However, if you have a problem that the dealer can not or will not fix go to corporate facebook page and make some noise they will get to you fast to make sure you do not keep all the noise going. Lexus is in a close race with MB and they do not want to lose it. They want us all to be happy owns who will tell our friends about how good a car we have.
Did corporate solve your problem? I posted on the facebook page like you said, this evening someone from Lexus called me, they left a message for me to call back. I'll try to call tomorrow. The dealer called me today as well saying they reinsulated the cowl per advice from Lexus, however they wanted to keep the car another day to see if it solved the rattling. Hope all this fuss will get me a rattle free car
Service rep just called and said my car should be good o go. He said Lexus told him the cowls were coming in with too thin of the padding/insulation material. They supposedly replaced mine with a thicker variant. Le Seems like this could be a problem on many '11 RX's
Sounds like they finally got it figured out for you. Congrats, and please let us know once you get it back.
Thanks, I got it back yesterday, so far so good but I'm kind of paranoid now. Driving without music and trying to hear squeaks and rattles
I called back the Lexus rep, it's actually their satisfaction hotline, he wasn't available and the lady said she would have him call back.
I am glad to get my car back, so much smoother and refined than the loaner RX 350
Turn the radio back on and enjoy Glad the dealer fixed it for you.
You're totally right kitlz, I will start tomorrow. All this just made me a bit wary with lexus quality, kinda feel it was hyped up, now it's time for a new start
Knock on my steering wheel
Sorry it was your car with the rattle hop you do not have to back to the dealer until you are ready to. enjoy your car
Thanks Billy, dealer experience was ok, just going there was a pain and having my car there close to 2 weeks for this 1 rattle was frustrating and disheartening. Don't want to go back anytime soon. Hope you had all your issues with your dealer taken care of as well, enjoy the weekend
my issues is a simple fix will never go back there again. Will pay for the 5k and 10k service out of pocket and take it to a Toyota dealer for that work. If I have to take it to Lexus dealer will drive or have it towed to New Orleans, La 175 miles way. Will take it to the local Mercedes Benz Dealer for a wax product reapplication every six months. Great car crap dealer service department.

Wow, I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience with your dealer, must be infuriating
I can't believe they still have not taken care of those issues. There is same problem with GS's... I was actually considering rx450h for my wife, but seems lexus just doesn't care. Too bad... this is why I'm getting rid of my first, and last lexus...
