While I love my 450h I am becoming more and more frustrated with the iPod connectivity. I had the Vaistech iPod attachment on my '07 RX and loved it, I left the iPod in the glovebox and never thought about it. With the 450h I have to constantly remember to disconnect the iPod before starting the car or else I will get an iPod connection error requiring me to turn off the car, unplug the iPod and restart.

My dealer says that they don't have any idea what could be causing it and blame my iPod - but I have the same problem with 2 different iPods. I don't really know what else to do, I find this to be very frustrating but the dealer doesn't seem all too willing to help.

Any suggestions?

 

I have my iphone bluetooth paired with the 450h audio and it works flawlessly. Music quality is excellent. Don't have to deal with the USB. See Nav System manual page 376.
