That's what I do now, but I consider it a stop-gap. I'll either need to wait optimistically for Grom to release their vline for MY15 or roll the dice on this thing. The youtube videos Acrad linked to suggest there's some issues that may/not have been addressed and I can't tell if their touchscreen cables are meant to somehow add touch to non-touch screens or need to be utilized with factory touch screens. I'm really not a fan of the mouse setup.

The lack of XM for me would be a deal breaker. I assume that all of these would not have XM/Sirrus access, as that is tied to the head unit itself. Bummer as this looks pretty good.

You can not. GX A/C control logic is built into the current OEM head unit.

 

Nope. Even the recent 2020 refresh that surfaced does not have it.

 

Any update for carplay in '15 GX? Has anyone been successful or new units on market?

 

Nothing I've been able to find. I wish there were.

 

A number of folks on the RX forum have been using a unit from these guys with good success (and online support). Just noticed they have one that appears to be for the GX. I'm chatting with support now to figure out which pieces are needed for CarPlay and will report back.

I would love to be able to install Android Auto on my car's infotainment system. The lack of it is frustrating on a vehicle like this.

 

I’ve been looking at this as well. However, I’d also like to get rid of the old tape player portion at the bottom of the dashboard and your option does not do that. As a result, I’m looking at this:

Does anyone have any experience with this item? Backup camera needs to be replaced, which is fine considering the poor quality from the factory.
