Default Split screen?

I keep seeing photos of the nav screen like the one attached. I would like to have the map on one side and audio on the other as shown but after several trips through the manual, I am stumped as to how get it like this. I know the nav screen was changed on the 2014 and mine is a 2013 so that might be the problem. Has anyone been able to set their nav like this?
Thanks in advance,
Jim in WV

Is that a pic of a 2014 GX dash that show the hard buttons are different than my 2011? If so I would assume there is not the option for 2013 or older unless I missed it.

That is a pic of a 2014 I think, but it was not labelled on the site where I found it. The buttons do look different though. I found a way to have two maps on the screen at once (why, I don't know) on my '13. But thinkj the audio and map would be really helpful.

I did not know the Nav screen changed on the 14 and now am curious what besides the exterior has changed? I am aware of leather and recently read no more standard heated/cooled seats. Any other good or bad from anyone with buying the 2014 that owned a previous model?

I read that the Adaptive (Steering) Headlights were gone for 2014. Not sure if you can still get them as an option or not. Other changes also include clear tail light lenses and LED front lights. Not sure what all else has changed.

The 2014 has a slightly updated Nav, it acts like the Nav in the 2014 GS I just purchased. You can see the apps button showing the updated Nav features.

I am aware of that also, my question is regarding interior changes any software or otherwise?

I would be interested to know. I am new to this whole thing - my first Lexus. Maybe someone with mire experience and expertise can shed some light here ...

Will do, did not realize how that worked. Thanks for the tip. Still looking online in the Nav Manual to see if I can figure out how to get both on the screen at once.

The button placement is different than the 2013's with that pic.

The 2013 has GEN 6 Navigation where as the 2014 has GEN 7 Navigation. I am unfamiliar with the GEN 6 Navigation Systems but it is very similar in design to the GEN 7 Navigation found on the 2013 IS (for instance). When the map is shown you can click on "Map Mode" and on the right side there will be an option for "Other Information" (I believe) from there you can click Audio and it will show both the Navigation and Audio when you hit the MAP or NAV button.
