Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the head unit w/in dash cd changer on an 05? It looks like this:



I'm trying to find the 4 wires that carry L/R +/- audio from the CD player to the amp.

 

Does anyone have this info?

 

Someone uploaded the attached file over a year ago - I presume on the same quest you have. IIRC, it was for an '04 but not 100%. Should help you out though. Also with a good search, you should be able to find the original w/ all the details.

cool.... i don't understand diagrams. maybe mwbuck can help me out. how does the rear entertainment system turn on? i have none navi and i replaced it with dd unit. but the rear display doesn't turn on now. dvd player has power but the lcd has no power. there's a remote turn on from the head unit. i just dunno which one. would u know?

 

oh.. and the vss for the gps. where is it located? not the red/green from the ecu. that doesn't transmit pulse. i tried and it's not the one i'm looking for.

 

If your looking for the kill drive sense while moving the wire is directly at the gps unit under the passenger seat theres a thread talking about it with a picture tutorial.

 

no i'm talking about the wire that transmit the vehicle speed signal to the gps. i am installing an aftermarket gps and that's the one i'm missing.
