Default Projector Lamp issue

Just picked up a GX470 today. Both headlamps work but passenger side not really shining. Is it common for lens to get that dirty? Anyway to clean it. Appreciate the help.

I got my GX a month ago and noticed my driver's side is like that, kinda scattered. There is some kind of "goo" on the driver's side lens, not sure what it is but it almost looks like it could be peeled off, like maybe someone applied a heavy wax to the lens. Haven't had time to mess with it yet.

What does it look like 20ft back from the wall? Might just be the passenger side needs to be aimed or something like that. The pics are hard to tell from, is the driver's side actually brighter than the passenger side? Cause that would be really odd.

Yes the drive's side is actually brighter. It is like the passenger side is on but not shining anywhere? Not up or down, just not projecting anywhere.

Hard to tell but it looks like there might be some blackening on the inside of the projector lens. See if it's cloudy compared to the other one. Maybe a previous bulb exploded in there.

See if the bulb has come loose from the housing.

It's also possible that the previous owner put the wrong replacement in there. It's a H11 for the low beam, and 9005 for the high beam.

Also, the side marker & parking light are 168's and the DRL/turn bulbs are 1156A for amber (1156 for clear).

I will say that the side markers are a total PITA to change. Find someone with small hands and strong grip strength, or consider pulling the lenses (requires bumper removal).

Good idea, I'd check this 1st as well.

It's a lot of extra work, but might be worth pulling the bumper so you can remove the headlight housing and have a good look at things outside of the truck, there's a good reason you're having this issue, but I'm not sure yet what it is. Blackcat was selling his stock headlight housings in another thread if there's a serious issue with your housing.
