So i've been reading around that toothpaste will actually help clean up old yellowed out headlights. I thought hmm...seems sketchy, lets give it a try! So here are the results

The drivers side didn't work out as well as the passenger side but I'm still surprised how well it worked.
toothpaste works great for several automotive applications, it will even polish chrome..but for the plastic like headlights, Plast-x is going to give you the best results...although that toothpaste seems to have done a great job...makes you wonder what its doing to the enamel on your teeth..
What will we think of next to clean the headlights? motor oil? Just kidding, it turned good, but nothing like wet sanding them and them buff them to high polish!
I've heard that certain chemicals in PlastX and toothpaste can harm the UV lining in the headlights, and that you need a deoxidizer to get the job done correctly. Otherwise it'll just come back. Any truth in that?
