Hello all! My name is Ty and I own the GX 470 2006 model.my tire pressure light has been on for over a month now...All tires have correct pressure in them and light is still on. I know about the button to the right under the steering wheel, but that does nothing for me. To be honest, I dont know what its for?..Will someone please explain to me like I am a 3rd grader on how to reset the light without me giving dealership 50 bucks!!!..LOL
I have the same problem. All 5 tires are at the correct pressure and light will still not go off. It is not blinking, it is on steady. Any ideas? Does my 2004 GX470 have a reset button?
Bad sensor. I had checked all tires and the spare and all were fine. Took it in and the sensor on one tire was bad. I'd have to check but I think it was around $250 to get fixed. They had to unmount the tire so I was charged for that, new sensor, then remount.......
The button on the dash is only if you have 2 sets of tires. Each set of tires has its own code per my dealer.

I had this problem a couple months ago. All the tire pressures were good, turned out to just be the cold temps in my area that made the light come on to to the fluctuation in temps between the garage, city & highway driving and driving in and out of colder climates.
thanks folks. I did wonder about the outside temp affecting it but that is not the problem this time. Last year during winter the sensor would stay on for about 10 minutes when just started and then turn off as I drove. I will go to a dealership to see about replacing the sensor.
Mine is on all the time here in Lake Tahoe and I've had all the tires checked (more than once). As soon as I descend about 1000 feet down the mountain, and the temp increases 10 degrees F, it goes off (usually). I've given up and just ignore it and check my tire with a pressure gauge if they look low.
I am currently at the lexus service for an oil change. I have been dealing with the tire pressure light but the service manager says that they need to bring down the pressure down to 22psi and push the tire pressure button under the dash, after that they'll fill the air to recommended psi. The spare tire must be lowered to 22psi as well along with all 4 main tires.
