Just bought a GX for my wife. Does the adapter in the console NOT work with an iPhone 3g? Maybe just a regular iPod?

 

Do a search for Vais Technolgy. They make a adapter that plugs into your rear of the radio and that will give you a hard wire connector to plug in an Ipod. I believe the Iphone works the same . You can search ebay for a vendor integration technolgies . Also you get adaptors off walmart for 5-10$. you could use via the FM transmitter maybe you could get a rear static burst, i beleive that is fixed with the 3G models.
