Default Front Plate Bracket? or Screw?

I was wondering if there is a bracket that holds front plate or do we just use plate screws only? and is there certain size screws I use or do i just grab standard plate screw in box from autozone? I hate to drill a hole but Illinois law got strict with front plates. Thanks Guys!!!

There is a bracket that bolts onto the front bumper.
I do not have a front plate and when my boy needed the GX for his drivers test I fab'd a L-bracket from under the bumper that went up in front of the bumper that I attached the plate to in order to pass the vehicles inspection (California is **** that way). Worked fine and he passed.

The GX I got has two predrilled holes with screws on the front bumper, not sure if its from the factory or the dealer, no brackets.

Problem with attaching the plate directly to the bumper would be paint wear from the edge of the plate unless one uses a spacer (washer) between the two.

From the factory, the GX does not use a mounting bracket to hold the front license plate. The license plate (and plate frame if you use one) are just attached to the front fascia with 2 screws. If you look closely at the front fascia, you will see 2 dimples where the 2 screws get attached.

alright, here's a dumb question...I have removed the front license plate and two screws...now I have two holes. What should I use to fill them? I tried looking for hole inserts that are white, but haven't had any luck. I am sure there is something simple but I couldn't find anything at Home Depot...thx in advance for any suggestions.

P.S. this needs to be a temporary solution as I live in CA and may need to reattach the plate to clear a fix-it ticket should I ever receive one...;-)

Great suggestion - thank you! I would never have found these. I just ordered them and can't wait to install. Now, if it was only that easy to find someone to put the ipod adapter in my car for a reasonable price! ;-)

Thanks again!
