Default Front license plate options

My '06 has never had a front plate but since I live in CO I need to put one on there. I know its a screw in the plastic type of endeavor here but wondering if anyone has a bracket or something instead of crappy holes in the bumper?

Where in Colorado are you? Mine has the holes in the bumper, but it also has screw holes behind them. Does yours have anything on the front, or is it just smooth?

Take a look up and behind your bumper. You will most likely see that there are already two factory holes behind the plastic dimples on your front bumper for the license plate.

When I bought mine, there was no license plate on the front either. I drilled out the plastic using the provided "dimples" as a guide and put a bolt through the plastic, through the factory license plate holes and a locknut on the backside.

Hope that's not too confusing

I opted not to use a license plate bracket but the autoparts stores have lots.

Cheers!

Spent two years in CO w/o a front plate ... was only an issue parking in Boulder where Parking Enforcement / Revenue Enhancement patrol would occasionally get me.

I've used 3M double sided automotive tape with great success in the past to avoid drilling holes in bumpers. Get the thick stuff, it works better due to the stamping contour of the plate.

I live in the GJ area, you live out here on the western slope too?

No holes, just little dimples. I'll have to get under there and see whats behind it.
