This is not that critical but my nav unit always informs me that my destination is ahead on the wrong side of the street. Does anyone else have this problem? If yes, is it correctable or just a flaw that I have to continue to live with.
I'm sorry Cap, could you please elaborate. I'm not sure that I understand what you're saying. Tx. I'm also wondering if a nav system disk update would take care of this. Anyone know for sure?
If your destination is always the same one, change the last number. If its an odd number, make it an even number. If its an even number, make it an odd number.
Sometimes, when a street turns and the street name doesn't change, an error will accur as to which side of the street is the destination.

Tx!
In addition to what others have told you, there is a calibration menu to run through. I think it is under maintenance somewhere, you might want to consult the manual.
I believe the nav does not have regular house numbers in the database, but calculates where a house number would be on the street. So if you have varying lot sizes or unusual number arrangements (like my house on the end of a cul de sac, which every online or nav system messes up), you only get an approximation.
Ditto for side of the street, if it uses a convention like Cap mentions.
