I have been wondering if anyone has ever upgraded from one navigation generation to another and if it’s even possible. I have a Gen4 but really like and need the voice command of the gen5, but am not sure if it can be done or what the cost would be….

Would like some feedback plz.

As a practical matter, it can't be done.

I have an '04, and like the newer NAV systems myself, but I'm content to wait until it's time to trade in my RX330 and get something newer.

Just think about the travails of those with no NAV system in their car at all.

I couldn't live like that.

I agree that it would be a had way to go without the nav system.
