Default Dash kick panel rattle

I came back from my 5k service from the Lexus dealer and told them about the rattle i had coming from under my steering wheel. I did a ride with the shop forman and he noticed the rattle and said it was similar to the one that some 2013+ GS had. he told me he would tell the techs to insulate it.

The bad news is the rattle is still there but it is not as constant as it once was, so its improved but not gone. the part where the instrument bezel meets the kick panel right by the HUD buttons is where its coming from and that part is still making noise... i will post up a picture and maybe a vid and you guys can tell me what you think...

Location of the rattle

Video of rattle when tapping on it

Thanks for the post. I had noticed a rattle from that area but had not pin-pointed the source.

I havent went back to the dealer yet but i plan on telling them to re-adress it. It seems like its the clip thay connects the kick panel to the dash right under the HUD bezel is weak and it rattles there. Although it might be the HUD bezel clips itself because the best way to make the noise stop is to push ln the bottom right corner of the bezel and it will stop clicking/rattling.I was going to take it apart myself and see if i could insulate it but i got lazy and figured i would let the dealer fix it. But i will update with how/if they fix it when i take it in next time.

Thanks brother. I'll let the service dept fix that. Besides that and another rattle coming from the rear speaker, the car is awesome.

I have the same thing in my car. Thought it was coming from the instrument cluster until I saw this. I've had mine at the dealership once already, they thought they had fixed it, but it's still there.
