I have a 19 F Sport with 56K miles...yes, I drive a lot. My daily commute is 100 miles round trip. At what mileage should I be looking a a brake fluid system flush or for that matter, any system....e.g. coolant flush, transmission fluid, etc.
The dealer told me I should flush and change brake fluid at 60K. Just wanted to get others opinions. I've also heard others say they've never done it and are at 100K or more.

Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks.
Look in the reservoir. Is the fluid dark and/or cloudy? If so, you could do a brake fluid flush. It has done its job and kept water suspended in the system. If it looks a light amber, like lite beer, you can go quite a bit longer.
As for the engine coolant, transmission fluid and differential, the way you are putting miles on it, I wouldn't worry about coolant until 100k. If it makes you feel better, you can do the diff and trans any time you feel like it but they are technically supposed to be "lifetime" fluids. I did the diffs (AWD) and transmission on mine at 70K (a few months ago) mostly because I have a lift and I was curious.
If done properly, servicing the fluids will not hurt anything and will give you peace of mind.

Lexus maintenance schedule says that brake fluid should be replaced every 30K miles or 3 years. You can find Lexus maintenance schedules at
As far as brake fluid goes, I heard good things about Brake fluid test strips made by Phoenix Systems. You dip them in your brake fluid and they show you "chemically" what condition your brake fluid is in and if it needs replacing or not. Takes the guess work out. I have had multiple Lexus vehicles, some I changed the brake fluid per recommendation and others not. Truly, never had issues in either case. Up to you and how you feel about it.....
I renew the brake fluid along with brake service, regardless of color.
Fluids are the lifeblood of your car.
Curious what you mean by renew the brake fluid? Do you drain it all out, from the lines, and refill? Or do you simply siphon out the fluid from the reservoir and refill the reservoir only?

TIA.
I use a pressure bleeder or 2 person method to replace the brake fluid.
