Did anyone get their windshield replaced and safety camera recalibrated on the 2016 GS 350 or newer? I was reading an article that it's expensive for some vehicles.
My LX was $2400 at the Lexus deal with Lexus glass (not cheap crap). Insurance paid 100% no deductible. I did have to pay out of pocked but was reimbursed within a week due to not being a preferred vendor
Lexus Factory Glass- $1181.99
Moulding-$33.99
Rain Sensor Tape- $39.99
Moulding- $148.99

Labor to recalibrate Lane keep assist- $570.50 (3.5 hours labor)
My 2017 GS350 AWD needed a windshield earlier this year as a nasty rock caused a long crack r=from the top. Thought someone was shooting at me as it was an extremely loud bang. Cost was approx $1700 for OEM glass & recalibration at the dealer. Thankfully, my insurance (CHUBB) had $0 glass deducttible.

Do you pay extra on your premium to have a $0 deductible for windshield?
Didn't pay extra "per se" for the $0 glass deductible. Can only say while CHUBB insurance is excellent, it is not cheap.
For example, at beginning of each policy year they assign a predetermined value for each car if it were to be totalled. If it happened, they give you that amount to replace the car. Most insurance companies will poke around the market and come up with a median value for the replacement cost. The price CHUBB sets is pretty generous as well.
I suppose you could always ask your particular insurance company if they offer a $0 glass deductible.
Having worked for a time in an independent insurance agency in the state of Kentucky, there is $0 deductible on automobile glass by law. I suspect it is that way in many states as it is considered safety equipment. If you have full coverage, glass damage is completely covered. It might also extend to headlights but you'd have to ask your particular agent/company.
