Default Check Auto Headlight Leveling System

I lowered my car about a month ago and never got around to fixing this. I had this "Check Auto Headlight Leveling System" on for a month and do notice my headlights are aimed too low. I was wondering how to fix this issue. I assume adjusting the headlight height will make the light go away on the dash? I broke my front passenger ABS sensor in the process of lowering the car, I'm in the works of getting a new sensor. I have ABS light and traction control light on. I'm not sure if that ABS sensor has anything to do with the headlight leveling system. I drive a 2013 GS 350

I'm not sure about thet abs sensor but you can manually adjust your headlights

Here's a post on how to do that

Check to see if you have ripped the wiring harness that goes to the headlight itself or something may be loose from the headlamp. There might be a chance it is a loose plug on the headlight itself. Check both headlamps plugs and the ends.

I will check that when it stops raining. It's been raining the last 2 days and will rain for the next week. I unfortunately do not have a garage lol. I read in a few threads that lowering the car will cause this sensor to go off since the headlights are aimed too low. I lwoered the car roughly 2.75 inches all around.

I believe the headlight level sensor is on the driver rear arm. It was not in the way when I installed my coilover, but your mileage my vary. My headlights are aimed very low, but never had the dash warning, I don't think the car is tell you the headlights are low. I think something happened to wiring of the sensor or the sensor itself.

I will keep that in mind. Thank you. With the bad weather down here, who knows when I'll get the chance to even check. I had a friend who had the same issue when he lowered his IS350, he had told me he had to fiddle with the leveling sensor thing to fix it.

I'll pop a bit of information here in case it helps. Be sure to post your results as you won't be the first last to bugger it up haha.

Good news friends. I dropped it off to my friend at Toyota and he took a look at it since the weather is still pretty bad here. He manually adjusted my headlights then adjusted leveling system. So now my headlights are perfect now. I can finally see at night haha
He told me since the car was significantly lowered, the leveling system couldn't compensate enough so a minor adjustment corrected everything.

I measured from tire to fender. I lowered the car 2.75 inches all around. I could've went even lower, but another quarter inch and my car would not clear the lifts at the Lexus and Toyota dealerships. The car literally barely clears the lifts.

🤦🏻‍♂️ I don’t understand driving the car this low, scraping, broken suspension look(uneven fender gap around wheel), rougher ride quality, on a luxury car. It’s a Lexus not a Honda Civc, believe me I know, had a rice civic.

I understand that. The first 6 months owning the car, I told myself no suspension mods lol. But that ridiculous wheel gap eventually made me pull the trigger and I bought coilovers. The worst part is this whole pandemic. Everyday I looked out the window to see my car parked for days on end and I couldn't stop looking at the wheel gap. My coils actually made the ride quality even better because of the dampening. I didnt think I could get the LS ride quality just from coils. But to each their own. I do not regret lowering the car by any means, just what I prefer
