Default Wireless charging

Anyone ever attempt to install a wireless charger into their GS? Just thinking about it and where I could possible place one. Would be convenient rather than having to always plug in my phone to charge! Amazon has a lot of options to use

Found this on eBay, $124.80:

Then I found it for much cheaper on Alibaba, $45:

Thanks for the post! The one on Alibaba definitely seems a lot more reasonable compared to spending $130. I’m going to do a bit more research but it seems like it fits right in! Looks pretty good. Will keep you guys Updated!!

thanks for the link!

It, just pugs into the usb or get a usb outlet for the cigarette socket. The 12v socket will give it the juice necessary to fast charge.

Been using Qi wireless chargers since my Note 2 (about 7 years ago) and only time I really use the cable is when I have to transfer pictures to my pc or when I'm driving for more than 3 hours to keep my phone charged while listening to my music using bluetooth. I have 5 wireless charging stands (a couple of Samsung convertible charging stands) between our house and the office. Phone is pretty much at 100% most of the time since it's on the charger when I'm not using it, it stops charging once it reaches 100%. I may get one in the future for my car, the one on the link from Alibaba looks nice.

the cord just gets a bit annoying inside the center console, so I think the wireless charger will definitely be nice!! I’ll post a pic on here when I get the one from Alibaba. I was convinced I “needed” one after my brothers Yukon has one haha.

How does this get the power to charge? Do we have to hard wire it or plug it into the cigarette lighter? Does this fit the iPhone 11 Pro Max?

I'm quite certain it's just a USB cable. Ad says hidden cable so it should blend in well. That price though is outrageous for the induction charging.

Nice! Wish it was a higher rate of charge but I'll take anything for our cars!

I think if you plug the usb into a charger for the 12v socket it will be fast. If you stick it into the USB slot it will be slow.
In any case I don't think a qi wireless charger is faster than a qi wired 12v charger.

Says it will fit the 8 Plus, so yes the 11 Pro Max will fit.

I received my charger today from Alibaba. Unfortunately it does not come with a usb connector, but connectors that require routing the wires behind the cigarette lighter. I found a video that shows how to install on the NX, but not sure how to dissemble the console on the GS. Here is what I was able to find: http://s.aliexpress.com/ve2iQZ3m

Any videos or thoughts on how to remove the cigarette lighter plug on our modern GS?
