Exclamation Air doesn't work on one side?

This just happened today. There is no air at all coming out of the driver side vents, but the air works fine on the passenger side. Has anyone run into this issue before. Hopefully I'm just missing something small or dumb. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Think I remember reading on these forums that this could be a servo motor issue. I bought my 14 GS used and on the lexus owner service history it appears my own servo motor had to be replaced for similar issues.

It honestly seems like a servo motor issue. That was the thing to search for because my other searches didn't come up with anything useful. It started working again this morning.. maybe it just needs to be cleaned. Wish there were some sort of tutorial for our cars. Definitely don't want to spend several hundred at a dealership for something like that..

I always keep the temp at 65 on both sides

Thanks for the replies!

Have you tried raising the temp to see how system reacts?

Are you sure the vents are not turned off?

Yes to all three. Sorry, I haven't been able to reply. Been too busy and forgot about the issue for a bit since it started working the next day. Tested the temperature and yes it heats up and cools fine. Vents were the first thing I checked and I never have it on auto anyways. Will post again if it decides to stop working again.

Thanks for the replies!

I never have understood why people don't leave it in Auto. Auto mode senses and controls temperature, humidity, fan speed, air mixture, etc. automatically for maximum comfort...much better than anyone can attempt to do it manually.
