Default LED question

I have done some research with not much luck. I just purchased a preowened 13 GS350. Love the car. I want to replace the fog lights with LED bulbs that will be a closer tint of color to the HID headlights. Any clue on what brand/temperature would be best to get the closest to OEM headlight bulbs? Thank you guys!

Welcome,

If I were you, I would go with LED fog lights, not just LED bulbs.

Check these out.

Thanks for the quick response. from those posts seems HID will still get the best light output. Maybe, Ill be doing HID fogs instead!

I did this on my '13 ES. It had the yellow looking fogs and I wanted to match the HIDs. The '14s had the LED fogs and I purchased those for my car. They were a perfect match and a perfect fit.

Not a bad idea. Both of my parents have 16 es and gx. with LEDs AMAZING. but I dunno if led will match my hid well. That's what worries me.

Just compare your HIDs side by side with one that has LED fogs and you can get a good idea.

On my dads 3GS, i added VLED H11 bulbs and the match was close enough for our liking. On my 4GS, i went the route of yellow PIAA fogs to go for a different look entirely (this was more of a throwback to my '01 GS with the yellow fogs).

The get the best output, HIDs are the way to go, but requires more work to properly install HIDs with ballasts/harness/relay. Some helpful info in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...lacements.html

Ive bought LED bulbs from the same place and I can honestly say that they are the closest I have seen to our headlights.
