Carista scan shows B126a on my 2013. Body Convenience Control. Any ideas? No symptoms exhibited in driving the car.

I am seeing the same error code in the scanner. the remote starter works as well. I have an Idatalink aftermarket bypass module. I am having a battery drain issue, and wondering if this error code has anything to do with that

I assume it is possible but with the code, I was not getting a parasitic draw.

 

about 2 months ago I installed aftermarket MPC kit that plugs right into stock hardness. Car had no issues till about a month of having installed kit. All of the sudden the car does not start. Push button does not start engine screen tell me to depress brake pedal . I found a way to bypass pressing pedal by leaving push start button pressed for 10 seconds . engine starts, to put in gear I have to also bypass gear shifter . Just bought xtool d8 scanner . one of the codes it gave me b126a. Has anyone been successful in clearing this code or had similar issues as i do. Can it be the aftermarket remote start system I installed. I can try reset it see if it makes a difference. If that does not work I may remove it completely and see if that helps . what do you guys think
