Default 2017 gs

Anyone have any info on the 17?? Anxious to hear about any changes if anyone knows. Would love to see the triple beams become standard. What changes would people like to see? Still saving to get a new one but don't know if it will be a 17 or 18.

2016 was a "refresh" so I doubt they do much at all for the 2017s. I do see the triple beam headlights showing up more frequently, so they could be making that an easier option to get, instead of having to special order one.

As the other posters have said, don't expect anything extensive in terms of differences. You may see some minor feature additions but that will be it until 2019-2020.

I know it will basically stay the same but, was curious what the small changes may be.

Lexus Safety System Plus becomes standard rather than an optional package.

I thought they were keeping triple beams only for the GSF in North America. Would be nice to see them available across the line.

BTW, for those familiar with Triple Beams, do they still have AFS on those lights?

Pretty sure they are optional on all GS's, not just standard on the GS-F.

I believe it's always been an option to get them, just have to special order them. Cars.com is showing 5 available right now in the US.

Adaptive Front Lighting System - "Adaptive front lighting system allows headlights to move up and down as well as left to right according to the wheel spin and steering angle."

Hope this helps,

I haven't really noticed that they move left to right. They do move up and down when I start the car, which would seem to indicate that they are auto-leveling.

Looks like lexus.com has updated a few things on the 17. Triple beams are now $1160 and orange calipers can be added for $300 on the F-Sport. Not sure if anything else has been changed.

Not a fan of the LED being separated into the bumper, but, the triple beam does look great in the housing!
