Seriously. I remember when I got mine end of 2012 no one had ever seen one before. Now it's almost like they travel in pairs lol.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Lexus Dynamic Handling Package still isn't standard for the GS350 F-sport...so it seems like Lexus did a price increase for he heck of it.

While prices of used 13-14 cars are going down the drain super fast. My dealer friend bought a "13 With 32k miles for 19k which is really shocking.

Where are you all seeing that the 200T is $66K? Is that even a V6? There is NO WAY, that underpowered vehicle would be priced more than the base 450h.

Lexus didn't introduce a new V6 engine...so yeah...GS200t F-sport is $66K according to the configurator.

To me it looks like a glitch on the build website. If you look at the selection page before the configurator it says the RWD 2017 GS350 f-sport starts at 54.8K base for 2016 is 54.1K. Then when you like on it base price jumps to 59.9K. Manually add the prices of all options without the configurator and compare the max of the 2016 and 2017 builds and the difference is only 2k. To me it looks like the difference is the option to build with the triple headlights and the differential. If you look at these screen shots I've attached for some reason they can't show proper math and tack on an extra 4k from nowhere in the builder

take away the mystery 4.1k that was tacked on and my max build comes to 63.2k. Someone also pointed out Dynamic handling is part of f-sport so take off another 1.7k and its 61.5k

I think, by default, if you select the F-Sport model, that package is already factored into the price. So adding it again would double the price.

I just did a quick build and came out $64K for Fsport RWD. Wow!!! I'm not going to buy this model. I might think of RX instead.

And here I'm the opposite. I have a 14 RX and it's a fantastic car but very boring to drive with the wife. Females like to sit up higher in a suv it seems. RX's are a dime a dozen and not as unique as the GS. I'll get my GS one day and she can have the RX.

Shows standard when I build:

  • F SPORT PERFORATED LEATHER–TRIMMED STEERING WHEEL AND SHIFTER
  • VARIABLE GEAR-RATIO STEERING
  • NAGURI ALUMINUM INTERIOR TRIM
  • F SPORT 19-INCH SPLIT-SIX-SPOKE FORGED ALLOY WHEELS WITH DARK GRAPHITE FINISH*
  • HIGH-PERFORMANCE F SPORT BRAKES*
  • F SPORT INTERIOR STYLING

The problem is $5000 different. However, GS outdated engine is really suck. I really interest with Infinity Q60 red sport 400 engine, but I don't like the way the car design exterior and interior. I wish GS will have that engine, then I'll buy GS. For now, sorry Lexus.

If you think the GS engine is outdated, I don't see how the RX will fix that for you. The GS and RX use the same engine (2GR-FKS).

My 2014 was $66k sticker, when most F Sports that year were around 58-59 (with nav and such). The big difference I'm seeing between then and now is that PCS/DRCC, LKA, and LDH appear to be standard now and they weren't then (I ordered my car with everything, those options included). The torsen diff is a nice option that I wish was available before. There might be a couple other things I missed, but the 2017s with a 66-67k sticker appear to tick all the same boxes my 2014 did, so I dunno, this price doesn't look surprising to me. It's obviously going to be a problem for folks who would rather spend less and not include options they may not use. Looks like they're doing to the standard GS what they did to the GS F. Try to reduce the number of options by including everything in the standard packages to make more margin off of people that wouldn't otherwise buy the stuff.
