So I see inventory at most dealers usually have 1 or 2 2017 and many 2016. Also true car pricing , even if you click 2017 you end up with 2016 pricing. Do you know when 2017 GS will be fully released . Interested in 350

They are fully released. Just don't expect deals that are as good as 2016 cars.

Thanks. Yeah, I wish TrueCar would quote me on 2017 so I can get an idea.

So TrueCar is pricing 2016 at about 11% off MSRP plus $4k incentive if you do not use their financing. .09% + $2k incentive if you do use their financing - of course that ends 10/31

I was curious to see how of a difference in resale value if I bought a 2017 vs 2016 today. So I compared a GS 350 for 2015 and 2014 with same options and mileage (25k miles) on KBB. The difference is $5000. Of course that is keeping the car two years. The longer the car is held onto the lower the difference. So I went ahead and compared 2014 and 2013 at 42k miles, difference dropped to about $2450. So I think if I hold onto the car 3 years or more the discount is better than the offset in depreciation.

So the current incentives end 10/31. I want to look at some father away dealers, I am guessing they still will have deals next month.... and also going into xmas has to be slow though 16 inventory will be thinning

What changes would people like to see?
If you are reading this LEXUS, please, PLEASE, get rid of that humongous, butt-ugly grill on your new models.

Looks like Lexus is bringing the triple beam LEDs to the US with the 2017 MY. Lot more available now. Used to be special order only. 7 available nationwide on Cars.com.

So now that October is coming to a close, do you think Lexus will continue the performance cash that supposedly ends 10/31? I would think as we approach the end of the year they would want to get rid of the 16s even more....

The laws of supply and demand don't change drastically on a five year old model overnight. The deals will stay with us. If they go away the will be back quickly.

December to Remember event may have some nice deals. I think all the 2016 left overs will be heavily discounted.

Woa woa woa, i'm "young" (21), and im not the biggest fan of the front grill. At first i was repulsed by it but i've grown used to it and its acceptable now. (still needs some refinement thou),
I cant stand the rear lights on the IS however. That swooping arc is just to much for me. That was the biggest reason i abandoned the IS and started searching other brands, until i eventually found the GS.
