Yes, always. Especially if you parallel park while in the city... have seen some rude bikers grab for the side mirrors to prevent them from falling... -_-

 

Every single time. I love my folding mirrors why wouldn't you use them?

 

How robust are the motors driving the mirrors? I heard some issues with failing motors on the last generation. I do not use mine often at all on the 2011. Just starting to use it on my 2015 today. Nice that it only folds when the doors are locked.

 

Of course I use it. My college parking lot in the engineering section is a joke. Peoples backpack will hit your car.

 

U can set it to auto fold/unfold with the ignition instead of the lock/unlock button.
