I really like the look of the side mirrors when they fold in, how hard would it be to get these to open/close automatically when the car is on? The same way the steering wheel moves in/out when car is on/off.

its possible, someone in the 2IS forum did a write up, im assuming its similar. becareful though, the plastic gears in these mirrors strip very easily. i wouldnt do imo

Isn't there already a setting within the menu to fold mirrors when putting the car in park?

theres a button in the little drop down box to fold them in but i dont think there is a setting for putting it in park and the mirrors folding.

There isn't IXI, you're right lol.

There's a mod to get it working though....

Speaking of, my mirrors' been having weird symptoms.... I sent it to a paint shop to have the mirror repaired (since a piece of plastic got lodged in it during an accident). When it came back, everytime I reverse and leave it on my right mirror adjustment (for the mirrors to fold down), it folds down all the way and never comes back up lol.... even more than it should
