Side mirrors not always adjusting when in reverse..
So as the title says, when I put my car in reverse, the side mirrors do not always adjust down. Not a big deal to me because honestly they adjust so low they are useless to me when they adjust down. Id say they adjust down maybe half the time. Just wondering if there's any rhyme or reason this. And there is setting to turn it off any how right?
Thanks guys

Yes, if you put your mirror adjustment switch to either L or R they will tilt when in reverse...if you put the switch in the middle position, it will cancel the tilt when in reverse.
Someone correct me if I have this backwards, been a while since I played with this...lol
If this is not the case with you, it is probably the motor in the mirror going bad and it will need to be replaced if you want that function.

My mirrors don't adjust down enough - I want to see the parking lines to see if I'm in the centre of a parking spot. Is there a way to adjust them without having the mirrors low during normal driving?

I found a trick, which I have to perform every now and then on my car. Go outside, and with your hand, physically push the mirror to the very top position, and then to the very bottom position. This seems to help the motors to move to the correct positions. Go ahead and reset your mirrors to your saved position.
Of course, as people mentioned, your mirror switch should be set to L or R, and when you move into reverse, both your mirrors should angle downwards.

But it's not big deal to tilt it down when I go in reverse. I've learn to live with it for the last 3 years.
