Changing the door welcome courtesy light.
I liked the ones with the circle because they serve their purpose better by giving off more light than the ones without the circle. Helps sometimes when you're looking for footing while you're getting out of the car. The ones without the circle just didn't seem like enough. Still get plenty of compliments on them regardless lol.
eh didn't realize until after the fact. Only checked fitment before I ordered. I mean it still matches and I believe it would look better than if I were to just put regular LEDs in them instead.
Just installed my lights not sure why but the lexus logo seems a bit crooked or not straight looks like its at a weird angle not sure if thats how it suppose to be or I just installed it incorrectly or what may be the issue.
Just received and installed mine... The projector needs to be moved a bit as the image is cut off my the door jam weatherstripping. I fixed one on the spot. I'll go back and fix the other when I'm not so lazy... Pleased with how they look. Wish it was brighter and sharper, but happy non the less.
Well, yardie beat me to it. I had the same issue with the angle of the projector being off (and the door cutting it off). It took a few minutes per side to get them where I could live with them. Not the best design (at least on mine), but not hard to correct. Steps below
The keyhole slots used for adjustment were too narrow to get a screwdriver fully into the slots (Used a 00 Phillips). Didn't want to risk stripping them so I removed the clear plastic cover held on by 3 screws.

WIth the cover off you can see another set of holes.

I moved to these holes and skewed the projector as for toward the door opening as it would let me.

Before

After

I am pretty happy with the outcome. Like yardie said, wish they were sharper/brighter, but what can you expect for $20....

puffdaddy, wanted to say thanks for the pics and explanation you gave on adjusting the lights. Really helped me.
I installed these on my 2013 GS 350 with not much issue. After installing them on the front doors I liked them so much and found they put out more light than the OEM bulbs I went ahead and ordered two more for the rear doors.
Took a little while to adjust them. Found that I needed the light to be aimed more back towards the rear of the car but the way it was shaped and when you tightened the adjustment screws it would pull it back towards the door. So I ended up using a little electrical tape on the light encasement and wrapped it around to the back of the board over the adjustment screws to hold it pulled back.
For the back lights all I did was adjust it so that they were aimed inward more towards the car so that the logo was stretched less due to the extreme angle of the lights on the rear doors. Still looks great though.
Got mine on amazon at:
$25 a pair was not a bad deal to me.
Also got the trunk light that was recommended from Diode Dynamics. Got mine in the cool white which seems to be the color of the led bulbs in the car. Easy install and made a huge difference in visibility in the trunk.

My uncles new Benz has this feature standard and it looks pretty cool. I'm so tempted to order them now that I've seen his.
