Agree, the Lexus LED projector door courtesy lights are a really nice addition. It truly is a must have for the car. And, the trunk LED light is a must have too.

For the interior of the trunk ? or the license plate ?

Correct - I was referring to the interior light in the trunk.
I cannot fathom what Lexus was thinking when they used a weak light output #194 lamp to light the trunk. It probably only has lumen output of a match. If someone needed to change a flat tire, or find something in the trunk to help quickly in the case of an emergency...or whatever the need may be at night, the OEM trunk light is for all-practical-matters worthless. Lexus should be embarrassed and ashamed for the pathetic decision to use an ineffective light inside the trunk of a $50,000 luxury sedan when a trunk light at night is something that most everyone uses and needs. I suspect less than 1% of the owners think the OEM trunk light is satisfactory. I'm guessing the cheapest car sold in the USA has a better trunk light. I wonder what OEM trunk light Lexus uses in the LS 460 and LS 600h...

The Diode Dynamics SMD 12 Board is definitely the the way to go, and a huge (and much needed) improvement in light output. The 'Warm White' color I chose (~3,000°K) is perfect, I think.
What about the cool white one ? Will it work since it is 6000 k ?
Sure, it will work. The Kelvin temperature relates to the color of the light. I chose cool white, which is about 3,000° Kelvin color temperature. 6,000° Kelvin temperature is too much into the blue range for me and does not look right or natural in my opinion, but that's all personal preference.
The lower the Kelvin temperature (e.g. 2,700°) the warmer or toward red the light's color is - and the higher the Kelvin temperature (e.g. 6,000°) the cooler (colder) or toward blue the light's color is.
