Default Headlight Bulb question?

Have a 2014 GS 350 F Sport. When I bought it I switched out the HID bulbs from stock 4300k to 8000K. The look is awesome but the bulbs we not good quality. They are D4S. What brand would you all recommend for replacement that give great light output and last a while. There are some many brands on the market just dont know which is quality. Thanks for the advise.

+1 for Philips. But you gotta watch out for fake. Fake Philips bulbs last about a year or so.

I think XenonDepot sells legit ones: http://www.xenondepot.com/D4S-automo...lbs-s/1043.htm

I bought their own brand HID bulbs for my kit and been working good until I sold the car. They do sell real Philips ones.

That 6000K one will give u a nice color. I wouldn't go more than 6000K cause anything beyond that just makes u see harder at night, especially in the rain.

Nigel sells them. He is a vendor here. You want D4S, not D2S.

So interested in replacing my bulbs now. Which ones from xenon Depot do we need, d2 or d4? The $200 pair or the $50-70 ones?

All D4S bulbs will work. Here you go:

http://nigel-jdmparts.com/philips-ultinon-6200k-d4s

The real Philips does come with authentic serial number that can be verify on Philips website.

The $200+ one, I fixed the link I posted above to D4S bulbs.

What's the difference in S and R anyway? There's D4S and D4R.

Your first mistake was putting 8K bulbs in, if you want good lighting quality you should not go past 6K some will say 5K but 6K is fine if you sill wish to retain visibility. I suggest Phillips as well and also Xenon depot as I have tried them both.

D4S for projector.

D4R for reflector.
