what kind of bulbs are these that makes them so expensive? anyone have any suggestions on where i can find these bulbs cheaper or have any recommendations as to any other brands! your help is mucho appreicato!!

Good HID bulbs are around this price range. I paid $190 on a pair of 6000K Phillips Ultinon D2R for my last Acura and just bought the 6000K Ultinon D4S for my GS350 for $250. Can't wait to swap out the stock 4300K bulbs. They are too yellow! Even the 6000K output lumens is a little lower than the 4300K, it's whiter and looks brighter to the eyes.

 

I swapped out my stock bulbs with Garax HID bulbs... around $90 for two bulbs I think. I still have my stock bulbs and could sell them to you cheap if interested. Also check the for sale section if you just want stock bulbs.

 

Go on ebay and get the OEM phillips bulbs both for under $150.
