Hello guys,

one of my headlights bulbs went out and i was looking at getting anohter set of 6k. i originally had Garax 6k but i have been researching and theres alot of people having Fakes or issues with this brand.

My question would be which brand buld should i go with????? im looking for 6k HID D4S bulbs

 

Xenondepot.

They dont make 6K, but 6.5K D4S bulbs. The difference is negligible

 

Do you know what the difference between the D4S XenonDepot HID Bulb and Philips Ultinon 6000k ??? like is one brighter than the other

 

Cant comment on brightness, but the Phillips Ultinon are german made and are probably the best bulbs that you can get.

Pricing is very different between the two though

 

I'm running 5000k Morimoto. Bought it from the retrofit source.

how long have you had your Morimoto bulbs?

 

i recommend xenondepot and ddm tuning, thats about it...

 

Do not use DDM tuning D4S with an OEM ballast, it will burn your socket! Garax all the way

 

Yea that's what I have now but my passenger side went out and I don't know where to get Garax from. Plus I keep hearing there's a lot of fakes ones

 

Sure there are fake ones around, but I also couldnt seem to track down a local store that carries them, so I took a gamble with an eBay seller, and theyre legit.

Contacted seller about the legitimacy of the Garax bulbs, he said they where authentic, plus the description states authentic Garax, on top of that a 9500+ Feedback score with a 99.5% positive rating, only negative feed back didn't re-guard Garax bulbs.

So with all that, if they even TRIED to screw you buy giving you fakes, PayPal will back you up in a case.

I got them on, and matches my LED strip perfectly!

Are you sure that seller is legit and is not selling fakes. He is selling them on ebay I dont remember where I got my Garax last time
