13 GS with Siri Problem

Hi, I have problems activating Siri when connecting to bluetooth of NAV. Siri talks less than a second and the then NAV screen shows "Call disconnect". Then music streaming continues and Siri keeps showing on my iPhone 5s screen, but I can't hear its response from car stereo anymore.

Does anyone in this forum has same problem and how do you solve it?

My previous 11' Corolla has zero issue with Siri and now a new Lexus doesn't work perfectly, which is unacceptable in my mind. Sigh~

The vehicle is not designed to be compatible with Siri. The 2014 is, it has Siri Eyes Free but the 2013 does not.

Siri won't work over bluetooth on the vast majority of cars. You have to remember not everybody has an iPhone.

Funny, in my 08 is350 Siri works perfectly! Also in my work car 2014 prius no issues with Siri.

They work just out of coincidence. I haven't even tried it in the GS, it all depends on how quickly the BT system picks up.

Siri works in my '13 GS but since the iPhone button isn't supported by the steering wheel switches I seldom bother with it. I think this stuff is so touchy that there appear to be car-to-car variations in how well it works.

I tried using Siri again this morning and the old problem happened again. Maybe a firmware update is the only solution. If any 13 GS users successfully upgrade the firmware (which possibly will unlock Siri Eyes free) definitely please share feedback!
