Let me start by saying I'm new to the forum and a new GS350F Lexus owner..
I think the ML sound system sounds great...but, I would like to add a little more bass to the over-all sound. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get this done without ripping apart the car.
The amp for the ML is in the trunk on the right side.
I tapped into that wiring harness to provide the Alpine Amp with the signal.
It was really easy running the power lead from the battery back to the trunk under the door sills.
You don't even have to take out the battery. The rubber grommet on the firewall is underneath and towards the fender, so there is access under the battery.
Alpine SWR-12D2 and Alpine MRX-M110.
Also the Alpine RUX-**** Remote Bass Level Control **** which lets me dial in just the kick I need depending on the tune...
Did you run it off the two rear door speakers or the stock sub location for signal? Also did you disconnect the stock sub? I have an old zapco amp and alumapro bandpass box ive been contemplating on installing on the car.
