There is one thing that I am disappointed in... that I can't plug in my CTEK battery maintainer to the power outlets inside the car (using cigarette lighter plug-in adapter). It doesn't work. The little power outlets in the center console are only good for shavers and re-charging cell phones...
I'm starting to drive my 911 convertible full time now, and wont be driving my F-Sport much. I use the battery maintainer regularly on my Porsche (a must), but I'm ticked off that you cant maintain and recharge the Lexus' battery this way. I might have to drive it a bit every few days instead, or get the cables and hook it up to the battery directly...which I'd rather not have to do.

I have a 2013 GS350 RWD non-FSport that I bought brand new in early 2014. With less than 4,500 miles, the battery died one morning in my home garage. No lights, no clicking from the starter, absolutely nothing. Couldn't even get the doors to unlock. The car is 100% OEM, no aftermarket anything and no accessory was plugged in. I always lock the car even in my own garage. I was positive that all doors were closed (I'm OCD when it comes to my car). The only thing different that morning was that the car had not been driven the day before, so it had been sitting for 36 to 40 hours. But that should not have been a problem. It would be totally unacceptable if the car had to be driven every single day to avoid a dead battery. Roadside assistance came and gave me a jump. I immediately drove the car 30 minutes on the highway to recharge the battery. The problem has not recurred so far, but I now get nervous when I go to start the car every morning. I will complain to the dealer when I take it in for the 5k mile service, but they will likely tell me nothing is wrong with the battery and I must have left something on.

I previously owned a 2008 IS250. Each battery Lexus put in that car only lasted about 20K on average. Pretty crappy for a luxury brand known for quality.

Did you leave your key near the car? While one night of constant comm w/fob may not be enough to drain the battery, several nights might. Try disabling fob by holding down Lock button while depressing Unlock button twice (key will blink 4x to confirm).

FWIW I have a 2014 AWD that sat for almost 2 months in my garage locked with the system armed, worked fine and started right up when I got home. I was dreading the dead battery problem after reading everyones complaints on here.

I've left mine sitting in the parking lot untouched for a whole week many times and it starts up just fine, but it got really dirty though.

Mines at home right now while we're at the beach with the Jeep. We'll see how it starts up Tuesday!
