I purchased my new 2013 GS350 about a month ago and when I start got the car, I was able to watch DVD's while the car was turned fully on and in parked position. Now, when the car is fully on and in the parked position I see a blue screen. Does anyone know how to turn the video picture back on? If the car is "on" but not started (put the start button once without my foot on the peddle) is when the DVD will show picture, but as soon as I start the car the screen turns blue, but the sound is still playing.

 

I remember in the other vehicles with the DVD package, you'd have to set your parking brake/E-brake on. See if that might work.

 

yes, parking brake needs to be engaged. make sure your electronic parking brake is engaged

 

You two are amazing! Walked out to my car, turned the "auto" parking break back on (didn't noticed that it had disengaged itself) and pushed the "P" parking one time and it picture popped right up!! Thank you again for your help!!

Question: Anyone put any updates on their new GS yet or have anything in mind?

I have a black with light interior with tinted windows, black chrome rims (dealership included in the deal) and a paint coat to prevent water spots, bird poop harming the paint, etc (which the dealership included as well). It was actually nice because I walked into the finance department and the guy said "Has anyone told you about your gift yet?" which I was completely surprised about!
