Default playing dvd/movies

Please help me with this one...I put in a DVD movie and nothing comes on the screen....CAN THE NEW gs300's play a movie on the screen...if so HOW???

Tranny in Park, Parking Brake set? It should work.

I never tried it while the parking brake on....I will try...is this the only way to play it?

go to the audio screen and press "picture"

It won't work with the 'standard' radio. Has to be a ML.

yup, security feature so you don't watch while driving must have the brake engaged.

You can always bypass it by tricking the monitor by bypassing the ebrake with a switch

Nope- there's a speed sensing circuit also. Do a search on this topic- lots has been written about bypassing this.
