Hi all! I recently purchased the Alibaba 2016 triple beam headlights with the 2013 plug. I got around to test fitting them today and came up with a few issues. 1. The DRL's don't turn on at all, I read this is a common issue with the aftermarkets but no one really explains how to fix it. 2. The driver side light hyper flashes but the passenger does not, I am afraid if I try to use a load resistor, it will damage the lights as they have a shared ground. 3. The car throws a Headlight Leveling System Malfunction code which is due to the fact that these lights do not have auto leveling or AFS. I am pretty positive you disconnect a AFS plug behind the dash to remove the error code. Any help would be much appreciated!
From what I have seen over the last few years about those lights on FB and here. Some work out the box some don't. Some modify them for a problem like you have or send them back for a replacement set that work.
Then the next post (tick, tick, tick) is that 1 or 2 of the Headlight LED's quit working after a few months. Is why I installed the 450h Triple beams in my 13 GS350 instead.
Got then from ebay. They were 13-15 450h Triple Beams. Install was plug and play. Required front Bumper removal. I did while also doing a ebay GS F front bumper swap also.
