Hello everyone I’m new just got a 2015 gx460 I had to replace the passenger head light. I went aftermarket because it’s whithin my budget. I’m getting the headlight system error. How would I go in fixing this. This is the eBay light I got. Would this wire harness fix the problem? Please and thank you. I’ve watch gxbob video but my wire that came with the headlamp are different.

Hello, sorry to hear you are having this issue, that harness plugs looks like HID ballast plugs for the 2010-2013 headlughts not the 2015-2019, double check that. As for the error, It's better if you can scan the code and check exactly what is going on with the headlight system and what is triggering it. For my exprience, aftermarket headlights dont come with the decoder that signals the headlight ECU that there is an actual headlight there, but before going further, scan and post here the code you are getting
thanks. as of right now my left side is oem and right is the aftermarket. i do have the left aftermarket as well. im having its scan in couple days. ive tried contacting the seller but he not replying to my emails. this is my first gx loving it so far. the error is not a big issue but my ocd is killing me.

I know the feeling, I replaced my OEM with some Chinese led ones, copy of the 2020 and up model and I have the same warning, I tried everything I couldn't fix it, so I have to live with the message until I find the decoders.

so this is the code im getting. where do i go from here.
Those are exactly the same codes I got when I installed the aftermarket led headlights, there isnt much that can be done. They will work just fine but you will have a check headlight system on the dash as soon as you turn the low beam on. The only fix is to get a decoder that sends the correct signal to the ECU which in 2 months i havent find yet, I will just start saving until I can buy alpharex.

I tried to get the Alpharex LUXX-Series headlights, but after 2 months of back and forth emails to TheYotaGarage and Alpharex proper, I was eventually refunded and my purchase cancelled. So the only option is either their NOVA-series 4 LED headlight [which I don't like], or going for something from a different brand like Fione [which I've heard good things about, but not as good as Alpharex]. So now I'm kinda stuck and wondering if I might be better off sticking with the OEM lights I already have.
If you DO manage to find Alpharex Luxx headlights, do update us. I would still love to get a set of them to avoid the headache with the codes mentioned in this thread.
