Default TPMS sensor error no idea how to fix

So a couple months ago my tire pressure sensor light came on. I checked my pressure and they were at a good amount. I then read online and saw that a lot of times the light has issues. I have been ignoring it for the past couple months but decided that I want to finally fix the light. I took it to a tire shop and they said that there was a nail in one of my tires and they think that was what was causing the light to go on. They told me to drive for a couple mins and it should go away. I’ve been driving for a day now and the light is still on so i decided to try and reset it. When I hold the button it does not blink three times but just stays on without turning off. I checked the plug for the button and checked the fuses and everything looks good. Any reason why my light would be on and the reset not working? Planning on bringing it to a dealer and having them look at it next but seeing if anyone here has any ideas. Also the pressure monitors just have dashes next to it also. It is a 2015 gs350 f sport.

Any way you can get the code pulled? I don't remember if auto parts stores can pull other codes that aren't engine.

I think a light that stays on means that the sensors have died and aren't sending signals to the computer. You'd need to replace them. Or you can ignore the light and buy a tire pressure gauge for $1 like I did. I don't think there's a simple way to disable the light so it just goes off.

No way I can do that at an auto parts store, they only get engine codes.

Good to know I’m going to the dealer on Thursday to have them diagnose it.

Go to a reputable tire shop. Avoid the dealer.

If the light ever flashes, it's a battery. If it's just on solid, you need to calibrate the low alarm. Read your manual

Had the same issue with an interim flashing. Seemed to come on after 20 minutes of driving after the car sat overnight. Flashing usually means low battery, but I had a tire shop rescan the sensors and reset them. After they did that, the flashing went away without needing to replace them.

Took it to a dealer and they said the batteries were bad. checked it for free I was surprised. I ended up going to a tire shop with $140 worth of tire sensors I had bought from work. Ended up that the sensors had been not programmed and all it needed was to be reprogrammed, sensors work fine and light turned off. 5 months of pain finally gone!
