Default PCV Valve 2016+

Has anyone replaced a PCV valve on a 2016 + 350? I saw the DIY for the pre 2016 years but I wasn't able to locate it on my 2017. It's definitely a different layout where the PCV valve should be.

If anyone has a picture of where it's located, that would help, thanks!

If you're standing in front of the engine then the PCV valve is located on the right side of the engine near the firewall. It's on the very back of the engine and has a rubber hose going into it. Lexus used a pinkish color thread locker on the PCV that should be partially visible and should help you locate it.

I changed my pcv valve yesterday related to a P0101 code I'm troubleshooting . I was wondering what that pink/purple plastic piece was for. The new one didn't have this piece so I just swapped it over to the new one. I didn't notice any sealant on the old pcv valve threads so I didn't put any on the new one. The original pcv valve had 130k miles on it and seemed to still work fine with minimal buildup.

I have a 2013 and I ordered a valve for mine too. I figured it was $8 so what the heck I'd do it when I get around to doing the spark plugs. It looks a little tricky to get to as it's buried in a corner a bit. Mine didn't come with the little purple deal either.

I think the refresh Atkinson GS’s don’t have a PCV valve.

Disregard what I said. See my post down below for more information.

TLE86, first of all I want to apologize for the misinformation, guess I was remembering things wrong when thinking about the vacuum pump and brake booster on the FKS. I was at a eyebrow salon on my phone when I sent the first reply lol.

This car does have a PCV valve. I believe it is under a foam portion underneath next to the brake reservoir. Check out this thread on Tacoma world which also uses the 2GR-FKS. Doesn't look as easy as the old 2GR-FSE
