Hey all, I know I could crawl under my car and measure my front sway bar, but it's really freaking cold outside and I don't have a garage easily available, and I'm at work. I need to know the diameter before I can order bushings from Figs.
Anyone happen to know it that could chime in and save me the trouble?
Big thanks in advance.

If youre going through all that trouble why not just upgrade the swaybars to the Fsport? Improve the handling even better

Changing bushings is WAY less work than changing the whole bar. And I’m keeping this car bone stock intentionally. Originally Posted by ibidu1

You are wanting to upgrade the bushings, how much are the figs swaybar bushings? 70 or $80? From what I know of figs, they are pretty pricey. For the cost of the bushings it wouldnt cost much more to buy a megan (basically f sport) rear swaybar for $140, it would give you better performance then the figs bushings. Thicker swaybar means more side stiffness and plus its adjustable. Swaybars are easy to install!

They’re $30. I’m not changing my sway bar. Now I’d really appreciate an answer to my question, thanks. Originally Posted by ibidu1

When i ordered sway bar bushings, they were 27mm, per Facebook group suggestion

That doesnt sound right to me, as the aftermarket which should be thicker then stock is 19mm. Maybe you meant 17mm?Originally Posted by Oceans13

Nope. Figs offers 3GS sway bar bushings in 25, 27, 28 and 30mm sizes. 17mm would be ridiculously tiny for a car this hefty. Originally Posted by ibidu1
