Staggered size fitment
I found a decent deal on is250 rims but the size of the tires are front 255/40/18 and 255/35/18 rear as stated by the seller. Will these fit without rub and direct fit on 08 450h?
And does anyone know how to tell from oem Vs replica rims?

You can use tire calculator and it will show you your tire measurements and you can play with different tire sizes to match. But there have been so many awd owners here that have run staggered so a simple search will give you the most common tire sizes that they have run.

Sorry I missed your last question, a quick way to see if those wheels are fakes or not is not look on the back side. Oem will toyota or lexus, most replicas do not do this. Another way is from the center cap backs, the fakes use a cheap flat sometimes shiny low quality cap

HMm so since these are staggered, do you guys think it would work if I sell a pair of 18x8 or 18x8.5 and buy another pair to match it and make it a square set up? because I have some 245/40/18's in storage.

These will fit no problem, had wheels from last gen IS with same exact spects on my GS. Tires are just smaller than original size, would need 225/45/18 on the front and 255/40/18 on the rears for it to match the same rolling diameter. Although I guess you could just mount the 245/40/18s on all 4. Also being a RWD, staggered doesn't matter, but yes if it was an AWD, you can use staggered wheels so long as the tires' rolling diameters are all the same.

Should I just sell the 2x 18x8.5 and keep the 2x 18x8 and buy 2 more to match and go squared? since I'm not a fan of not being able to rotate them and the rears wear out faster no?
