On the mode question, everything is done on the screen. Tap Radio, Music, Bluetooth or App. The Music button has a sub-menu where you can select onboard storage, sdcard or usb. Any streaming music can be done via BT streaming or downloading the app to the unit from the Play Store. If you're doing it through the play store, you would need to open the apps on the HU. The mode button on the steering wheel will not cycle through them.
The 2 red wires, One will connect to the brown wire on the back of the unit. It's labeled "BACK." The other red wire will connect to the +12v red wire on the rear inner taillight harness (4 wire harness, orange, red, white, brown).
Brown wire, back of HU on the camera input harness Trunk side, 4 pin harness, red wire on the factory harness is the trigger wire. Connect the red wire from the camera to this. The red/black wire will go to a ground.
Interesting that your mode button doesn't scroll through the audio options. Mine does. I totally forgot about being able to swipe the top bar over to get to the audio options.
Thanks for the pointers on the camera. Do you think it would work to splice the new GPS antenna cable into the existing GPS antenna wire? Is the old GPS antenna wire the one that was on the very bottom, drivers side with the tough screw off connector?
Hi grdsman, did I understand correctly that you have Mark Levinson in your car, with 14 speakers? If so how was the installation? Is new HU connected to original amplifier or does it use HU's own amp?
I do have the Mark Levinson audio. The HU does NOT have a connector for the stock amplifier. I cannot tell a difference in audio, though. It is pretty darn good. The connection to the amp (which is the VERY white connector that goes to the top of the original HU) does not have a matching connection in the harness. The installation was straightforward otherwise.
As far as I can see, there is no way to change the two halves. I normally don't have the default screen up. I have either nav, youtube, Pandora or Spotify up.
Were you able to utilize the all mounting points to secure the unit to the dash? I'm tempted to drill new holes in the factory dash mount so I can completely secure the unit.
I only used the two mounting holes that line up with the new HU. It seems fine, though. It's light.
If you haven't installed the unit in the car, what harness on the HU did the OBD2 cable come off of? I don't know what the 5 pin harness is for, obviously it pulling data from the OBD2 system and displaying them on the screen.
Where do you get MPG readouts on the HU? I haven't seen that option.

I haven't installed yet, still waiting on my backup camera.
Here is a photo of my harness. Still confused of that extra plug.

Looks like the connector is going into the CAN-Bus adapter. I'll have to look at mine.
The Extra plug, I left alone for a few weeks until I decided that maybe it was the OBD2 connector. It didn't hurt anything and I didn't notice any missing functionality.

Do you have a photo of the factory GPS antenna wire/plug? Can't seem to find it, I don't mind try splicing as a test subject, just need to know what it looks like.

I’m pretty sure this is it, but I’m not positive. I cut it because I couldn’t get it unscrewed. I would tie into the other end that is still under the dash. What do you think?
